Caregiver Job Description

As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities of daily living and providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with hygiene and dental care and may be required to help the customer move around and make sure the home is safe and secure. The right candidate will have at least one year of experience, will be able to understand specific instructions, and will have a professional appearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a good listener and provide compassionate care.

  • Encourage the individual to complete tasks and maintain good hygiene.

  • Help the individual with personal care and domestic responsibilities, such as cleaning, cooking, or shopping.

  • Be familiar with the individual's medications and assist with administration as directed.

  • Support the individual's activities of daily living.

  • Promote good nutrition and encourage the individual to stay active.

  • Support the individual in following doctor's orders by reporting changes or concerns to medical staff.

  • Stay aware of any changes in the individual's health or behavior that may require additional support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
